Hemsö issues EUR 300 million bond with a term of 12 years

Hemsö has issued EUR 300 million under the company’s EMTN programme. The bond has a term of 12 years with a credit margin of 0.85 per cent over the mid swap rate and carries a fixed annual coupon of 1.75 per cent. The issue is Hemsö’s second issue with a term of more than ten years and is a part of Hemsö’s strategy to extend the maturity of the loan portfolio.

– We chose to take advantage of a strong capital market and a favorable interest rate to further extend our maturity profile and create better visibility into our future interest costs, says Jonas Rosengren, Group Treasurer.
