Hemsö has acquired four properties in the justice system segment in Germany.
Hemsö is broadening its German portfolio and making its first property transaction in the justice system segment. The four properties are situated in the federal state of Hesse and house police stations and government authorities with a total area of 22,600 sqm. The tenant is the federal state of Hesse, which has a lease of 13 years.
Hemsö already owns several public properties in Germany, mainly in elderly care with a portfolio of 42 nursing homes.
"Alongside investing in nursing homes, in the future we will focus more on acquiring educational and research properties and properties in the justice system," says Jens Nagel, Head of Region Germany. "We can thereby leverage the expertise and experience that we have gained from Sweden and Finland."
