Hemsö updates its sustainable finance framework

Hemsö has updated its sustainable finance framework. The framework is aligned with the International Capital Market Association’s guidelines and the EU Taxonomy. SEB served as advisor and Sustainalytics provided a second-party opinion.

“We will continue our long-term efforts to provide modern premises for education, health and social care, while working intensively to reduce the carbon footprint of our new development projects. In our existing property portfolio, we invest in modern technologies, renewable energy and digitisation to optimise energy and reduce our carbon footprint. With our new framework, which is aligned with the decarbonisation objectives ofthe EU Taxonomy, combined with our focus on social sustainability, we want to develop and broaden our approach to sustainable finance,” says Rutger Källén, Deputy CEO and CFO of Hemsö.
